Meet the Orthodontist:
Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis
Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis has been in the specialty practice of orthodontics since 1999. He completed his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania before attending Temple University for his orthodontic residency. While at Temple University, Dr. Nicozisis received his specialty certificate in orthodontics and a master’s degree in oral biology. During his training, he also completed an externship at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he was involved with the care of patients with craniofacial syndromes.
Dr. Nicozisis is a Faculty member of Align Technology, makers of Invisalign and serves on their Orthodontic Advisory Board and Clinical Research Network where he helps conduct research and development of new technologies and improvements to the Invisalign® Technique. He has given over 400 National and International lectures including 16 Summit meetings in the US, Europe and the Asian-Pacific region. Dr. Nicozisis co-authored a text book chapter with Align Technology’s Director of Research and Development in 2014. In 2017, he co-created a course, The Aligner Intensive Fellowship, that has trained over 6000 orthodontists worldwide including being taught in every orthodontic residency program in the US and Canada since 2021. In 2024, he wrote the first publication in a peer reviewed journal on the Invisalign Palatal Expander. Please see his updated lecture schedule.
