With current concerns over COVID-19, there are limitations on when orthodontists’ offices can see patients. At Princeton Orthodontics, we want to ensure our patients are safe, and we want to remain available to help our new and existing patients. Therefore, we are helping our patients with a SmileSnap virtual assessment.

What Is SmileSnap?SmileSnap is a program that allows orthodontists like Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis to see patients virtually. SmileSnap is endorsed by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). This endorsement means SmileSnap virtual assessment is trusted to keep patients’ information private and deliver a quality experience.
How Does SmileSnap Work?
SmileSnap is very easy to use. First, you enter the virtual consultation through the link. There is a questionnaire that asks you a few things about yourself and what your orthodontic goals are. When you tell us your needs and preferences, it helps us create a treatment plan that works for you.
The next step is to take several pictures of your teeth and your bite. These are easy to do, but it does help if you have someone to help you. The angles are essential so Dr. Nicozisis can see your teeth from all directions. After the pictures are taken, you upload them into the virtual consultation portal.
Dr. Nicozisis will look at all your pictures and the questionnaire to come up with a treatment plan that makes sense for both your lifestyle and orthodontic needs. You will receive a text from us with our recommendation. This recommendation will include the cost and an idea of how long treatment might take. At this point, you are ready to decide.
