Advanced Orthodontic Technology
iTero Digital Scanning
Say goodbye to traditional impression trays. Our iTero digital scanner captures a detailed 3D image of your teeth and bite in just minutes. This technology helps us evaluate your smile, plan your orthodontic treatment, and monitor your progress with greater precision. It also allows you to see a digital preview of how your smile could look after treatment.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays provide a comprehensive view of your teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures in a single image. This allows our orthodontic team to evaluate tooth development, identify potential concerns, and plan treatment with your overall oral health in mind.
Cephalometric X-Rays
Cephalometric X-rays provide a side-view image of your head, teeth, and jaw relationships. These images help us assess how your teeth and jaws fit together, evaluate facial growth, and develop personalized treatment plans, particularly for patients who may benefit from early orthodontic intervention.
Innovative Treatment Options
Invisalign® Clear Aligners
We offer Invisalign clear aligner treatment for children, teens, and adults who want a discreet, convenient way to straighten their teeth. Using a series of custom-made aligners, Invisalign gradually moves teeth into their planned positions. Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis is a faculty member of Align Technology, the company behind Invisalign, and serves on its Orthodontic Advisory Board and Clinical Research Network. His involvement in Invisalign education and research helps keep our practice connected to advances in clear aligner treatment.
Invisalign Palatal Expander
The Invisalign Palatal Expander is an innovative alternative to traditional palatal expansion appliances for appropriately selected growing patients. It uses a series of custom-made, removable appliances to gradually widen the upper jaw. This technology offers a new approach to early orthodontic treatment, helping address certain jaw-width concerns while allowing patients to benefit from the convenience of a removable appliance. Dr. Nicozisis co-authored the first peer-reviewed journal publication on the Invisalign Palatal Expander in 2024, reflecting his involvement in the development and advancement of this emerging treatment.
Integrated Invisalign Buttons
For patients receiving Invisalign treatment, we use an innovative approach to aligner attachments whenever clinically appropriate. Instead of bonding separate buttons directly to the teeth, Invisalign's integrated buttons are incorporated into the aligners themselves. This approach can reduce the need for additional bonded attachments while maintaining the features needed to help guide tooth movement. It is another way we work to make clear aligner treatment more streamlined and comfortable.
Invisalign Teen
Invisalign Teen is designed to meet the needs of growing patients who want a more discreet alternative to traditional braces. These custom aligners are removable for eating, brushing, and flossing, making it easier for teens to maintain their normal routines and oral hygiene throughout treatment.
Invisalign First and Phase 1 Early Treatment
Some children benefit from orthodontic treatment before all their permanent teeth have erupted. This is known as Phase 1 or early interceptive orthodontic treatment. Invisalign First provides a clear aligner option for appropriately selected younger patients. Early treatment may help address developing bite problems, create space for permanent teeth, and guide jaw development when indicated.

A New Approach to Orthodontic Comfort
The Synapse Dental Pain Eraser
We believe orthodontic treatment should be about creating a beautiful smile, not enduring unnecessary discomfort along the way.
That’s why we provide every new patient with the Synapse Dental Pain Eraser, an innovative device designed to help manage orthodontic discomfort. It uses gentle, targeted vibration to help reduce the discomfort that some patients experience during treatment, including after getting braces or switching to a new set of aligners.
The Dental Pain Eraser is a particularly exciting advancement in orthodontic care because it gives patients a convenient, drug-free option for managing treatment-related discomfort at home. Rather than relying solely on traditional pain-relief methods, patients can use this technology as part of their personalized comfort routine.
Dr. Nicozisis serves on the Clinical Advisory Board of Synapse, the company behind the Dental Pain Eraser, and has helped support the introduction of this technology to the orthodontic market.
By providing this device to all new patients, we make comfort a priority from the very beginning of treatment. Our goal is to help patients feel more confident, comfortable, and supported throughout their orthodontic journey.
